Undoubtedly, you have been slogging through a large assortment of different products while looking for the very best anti-aging skin creams.  It’s hard to decide on what to buy when every manufacture is without fail telling you that his and his alone is the pinnacle in anti-aging skin cream.

Most of these claims are made without a shred of scientific data to back them up.  The reason you’re not presented with said evidence is because more likely than not the data would utterly refute their claim to having the best anti-aging skin care creams on the market.  So, trust not he who would lead you blindly down the path.

Hard evidence of the products effectiveness is what you need, but with most of the flourishing cosmetics companies this proof is difficult to come by.  I would ask a company representative if the anti-aging skin cream in question had been clinically tested.  If the answer is yes, then there should be recorded data.  If the answer is no, then put the product down and back away slowly.

I know that I for one am not going to slather myself up with anything that hasn’t been proven to be safe.  The celebrity spokesperson can prattle on all day about what this product can do, but I’m not buying into the “best anti-aging skin creams” pitch unless you can show me something to back it up.

Of course I’m the kind of person who would never purchase something like that from television or an ad in a magazine anyway.  I want to hold it, I want to look it over, but mostly I just want to be able to see what it actually says on the label. 

What you’ll probably discover upon looking at the label is that the anti-aging skin cream that you’re holding in your hand isn’t nearly as pure and organic as you were led to believe.  You’ll most likely find in it the very cost cutting chemicals and additive that most cosmetics companies use in order to save enough money to pay for said ads, and ensure that the company Christmas party is in Vegas again this year.

It’s not ‘technically’ as though the company purposely tried to dupe you into believing that their “best anti-aging skin creams” were purely organic.  The sad fact is that the companies are not really required by law to tell you anything at all about what goes into their products.  They pretty much have free reign to tell you anything that they want.

This is because the governing bodies who are supposed to hold the makers of these products accountable don’t enforce the few regulations that are imposed on cosmetics companies.  They are allowed to put collagen into their products even though it is a known high risk allergen.  If you go to get collagen injections you must first take a battery of tests, but apparently you can slap it into some anti-aging skin cream and nobody cares.

When trying to find the best anti-aging skin creams for you, just be careful.

If a company really has the best anti-aging skin creams, it should have documented research to back up its claims.  If a company is going to charge hundreds of dollars for an anti-aging skin cream, they should be willing to fully disclose the ingredients, rather than using proprietary names.  If you’re like me, you want to know what’s really in there, before you buy. 

I’ve spent years evaluating different products, so that I could help people learn how to find the best anti-aging skin creams.  I got started after reading several reviews from women who had serious adverse reactions.  One woman’s face was permanently disfigured by an anti-aging skin cream and I am sure that she is not alone.

You see, cosmetic companies are allowed to use practically anything in their products, especially if the manufacturer is located in specific countries.  The US, for example, has very few regulations regarding the ingredients or complete disclosure of them.  The EU has better standards and has banned many unsafe ingredients, which are still being used by US companies. 

Sodium methyl paraben, for example, is banned by the EU, because it has de-pigmenting effects.  In other words, it causes the appearance of lighter spots on the skin’s surface.  Not only is this a problem for your appearance, it also makes the skin more sensitive to UV rays from the sun.  Companies in the US are still allowed to use the ingredient.

The most popular ingredients for anti-aging skin cream are sunscreens.  You will see a number of creams and lotions, meant for daily use, that have SPF ratings ranging has high as 20.  If you buy a product with an SPF rating, make sure that the sun-screening compound is not oxybenzone or benzophenone.  They are derivatives of benzene, a known carcinogen.  They have been shown in scientific studies to damage DNA strands, when the cells are exposed to UV rays from the sun, which makes them probably carcinogens.  The evidence was published over two years ago, but the ingredients are still be used.

The best anti-aging skin creams do not have an SPF rating.  It is not safe to rely on an anti-aging skin cream to prevent sun damage or skin cancer.  Use common sense in the sun and wear protective clothing.  Use a zinc oxide sun-block, on exposed areas, when you expect to be outside for extended periods of time.  When the use of sunscreens became popular, they were rushed to the market, without first being fully evaluated for safety.

The best anti-aging skin creams for the body do contain vitamin B5, because it enhances the natural tanning processes.  The ingredient is recommended for men to use on their faces on a daily basis, as it is also a natural anti-inflammatory and men tend to have problems with inflammation, due primarily to shaving.

When you are shopping for an anti-aging skin cream, there are many ingredients to look for, including wakame kelp.  The best anti-aging skin creams are safe and natural.  Just be sure to do a little research, before you buy.

You will without a doubt encounter a huge variety of products when searching for the best anti-aging skin care creams. Many manufactures will claim that their anti-aging skin cream can do what no other product can do. How do you know what and what not to believe?

Many of these company representatives haven’t got a clue as to if the product actually works or not. It’s not his job to know, because he is nothing more than a ‘propaganda man’. He gets paid by convincing people to buy based on the belief that he has the best anti-aging skin creams ever created.

You don’t need a sales pitch; you need factual scientific data in order to have the necessary information to compare the different products out there. Has the anti-aging skin cream been clinically tested is a question you should ask, and if so where are the results of these tests?

Also never buy a cosmetic product through a magazine or from television. Of course the ad or the celebrity spokesperson will happily tell you about all of the natural ingredients that make theirs the absolute best anti-aging skin creams available.

What they won’t tell you is that the ad you’re currently looking at was paid for by money the company saved by using all of the expense cutting chemical additives they lace their anti-aging skin creams with. Many of these chemicals could possibly harm or irritate your skin. Others could simply kill you.

They didn’t forget to mention shipping and handling charges or about the 4 to 6 weeks you’ll have to wait for delivery did they? So how can the producers of the so-called best anti-aging skin care creams forget to tell you about the possibility of harmful side effects from using their products? Could the horrible truth be that they didn’t forget, they just don’t care?

The use of all natural, healthy ingredients would be better from a health perspective. These natural ingredients are more costly, and the makers of these anti-aging skin creams see it only from a financial perspective.

Besides, even though the chemicals in their product could possibly be harmful, they are not required by law to warn the buying public about them. These are health related products, how come the Food and Drug Administration allows them to get away with this? Funny you should ask.

Even though technically cosmetic goods are health related products, the makers of the “best anti-aging skin care creams” are not bound by FDA regulation. This is because even though these anti-aging skin care creams are absorbed through the skin and into the bloodstream, they are topical and not orally introduced.

Leave it to bureaucratic reasoning to come up with a distinction like that. Control actually falls to the Federal Trade Commission whose regulation of the industries under them is vaguely reminiscent of the Keystone Cops.

Remember to do your homework when it comes to finding the best anti-aging skin creams out there. Look for all natural ingredients and no additives or fragrances, and I’m sure you’ll be just fine.
